Daniel Franskousky ran for one TD and threw for another in the first half as Springdale took a 14-0 halftime lead Friday night and held off Monessen, 14-12, in an Eastern Conference game.

Monessen (4-2, 4-2) mounted a comeback in the second half on the arm of Noah Rullo, who threw for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns, both of which were caught by LaVelle Rush.

But Rullo also was intercepted three times by Springdale (3-3, 3-3), which got back into the playoff race with the victory.
