JEFFERSON – Christopher Pierce ran for one touchdown and threw for another, both in the fourth quarter, as Frazier pulled away late for a 28-7 Tri-County South win over Jefferson-Morgan at Parker Field.

Hunter Patterson scored a rushing touchdown with 1:12 remaining in the first half to give Frazier (2-0, 2-0) a 6-0 halftime lead.

The Commodores extended the lead to 14-0 on a 12-yard run by Alvin Ross midway through the third quarter before Jefferson-Morgan (1-1, 1-1) cut the lead in half with a 36-yard touchdown pass from Joe Headlee to Josh Bissett.

Pierce then put the game away with his two late scores.
