BURGETTSTOWN – Malik Wells gained 119 yards on six carries and Jonathan Spina accounted for three touchdowns Friday night as Washington won its second straight game, 41-12, over Burgettstown in the Class AA Interstate Conference at Hill Memorial Stadium.

Wells scored on a 74-yard run and caught a 13-yard scoring pass. Spina completed 5 of 8 passes for 135 yards. He hit DeQuay Isbell from 38 yards out to open the scoring and the two connected later in the quarter for a 60-yard score. Isbell caught three passes for 110 yards.

Kenya Davis had a 72-yard TD run and Jordan West went over from the one.

Jacob McKee rushed for 43 yards on 12 carries and scored on an 8-yard run in the third quarter. Leroy Camp returned a kickoff 95 yards for the other score for Burgettstown (0-2, 0-2).
