Ferrari’s three touchdowns grab C-H first win

HOUSTON – Senior quarterback Alec Ferrari passed for 104 yards and three touchdowns, including a key 23-yard scoring toss to Josh Gray in the fourth quarter, as Chartiers-Houston won its first game, 21-14, over visiting Western Beaver in non-conference play Friday night.

Ferrari completed eight of 11 pases and connected with A.J. Meyers on touchdowns of 27 and six yards int he second quarter that gave C-H a 14-0 halftime lead.

John Sosack scored on runs of seven and 30 yards in the fourth quarter for Western Beaver, but Ferrari’s TD pass to Gray sealed the win for the Bucs.
