Charleroi remained in first place in Section 2-A with a 7-0 victory over host Monessen Wednesday.

Adrianna Gottheld scored two of her three goals in the first half as Charleroi (6-1, 7-2) forged a 6-0 lead at the break.

Kyra Watkins scored two goals and assisted on another, Sierra Short had a goal and an assist and Halee Fedrick scored a goal for the Cougars, who have won five in a row.

• Carly Wilson scored twice to lead Chartiers-Houston to a 4-3 victory over Geibel in a Section 2-A match.

Alyson Ferrari had one goal and Erin James added another for the Bucs (5-2, 5-4).

Karlee Judy and Hannah Judy had the goals for Geibel.

• South Park defeated South Fayette 5-0, dealing the Lions their first loss in Section 5-AA.
