FOX CHAPEL – Carrington Vaughn had 129 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries as Fox Chapel handed Canon-McMillan a loss in its first game under the direction of new head coach Terry George, 34-12, in a non-conference game Friday night.

Billy Urso completed 12 of 19 passes for 147 yards and two scores, both to Thomas Smith, as the Foxes (2-3) built a 27-0 lead early in the third quarter.

Bryan Milligan pulled the Big Macs (0-5) within 27-6 with a 65-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but Vaughn scored his second touchdown late in the fourth quarter to put Canon-McMillan away.

Dom Eannace threw a late touchdown pass to Jordan Smith for the Canon-McMillan, which got 95 yards rushing on 17 carries from Brendon Handyside.

George took over for Ron Coder, who resigned earlier in the week.
