CHARLEROI – Waynesburg bounced back from a one-point loss to Mt. Pleasant by rolling over host Charleroi, 49-7, Friday night in an Interstater Conference game, but the Raiders might have suffered a costly injury in the process.

Three Waynesburg players passed for touchdowns, and Hunter Cenname had a another big game by rushing for 228 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries.

John-Glen Davis caught touchdown passes of 12 yards from Colby Collins, 70 yards from Dom Sarra and threw a 12-yard scoring pass to Sarra. Davis, however, left the game late in the first half after injuring a knee and did not return.

Cenname scored on runs of 14, 63, 4 and 87 yards. Collins completed seven of eight passes for 108 yards.

Charleroi’s Matt Carr was 11-for-20 for 102 yards, and the Cougars’ Brock Shannon had a 28-yard TD run.
