Trinity’s non-section dual meet against McGuffey Friday night will be used to raise money for Legacies Alive, an organization founded by combat veterans to support Gold Star Families of the nation’s fallen soldiers.

Both schools are raising money throughout the week by selling Legacies Alive headbands for the match. The $5 cost of the headband also covers admittance to the meet, which is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the organization.

Legacies Alive was c-founded by Mark Faldowski, a 2005 graduate of Trinity. He went on to play football for Army, earned his Bachelor’s degree at West Point and served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Ranger. The organization has raised $234, 648.
