South Fayette wrestlers take section lead

South Fayette took advantage of four Chartiers-Houston forfeits to take sole possession of first place in Class AA Section 1-A with a 57-15 victory over the Bucs in a high school wrestling match Thursday night.

Shane Ging, Mike Carr, Brett Beltz and Joe Bastaroli all recorded falls for the Lions, who improved to 3-0 in the section.

South Fayette (3-0, 12-1) scored 12 of its match point via forfeit as well.
