DALLAS – Courtney Senas and Alexa Peterson both homered, but it wasn’t enough for the PA Rebellion to overcome a big night by Taylor Thom, as the Dallas Charge won the first game in their history, 9-5, Thursday night.

Thom went 3-for-4, homered and drove in three runs for Dallas (1-1), which is in its first year in the National Pro Fastpitch League.

The Charge scored five runs in the second inning and four in the sixth.

Nadia Taylor and Molly Fichtner also drove in two runs each for Dallas.

Senas had three hits of the seven hits for the Rebellion (2-5).

Vanessa Stokes earned the victory, while Bryana Walker took the loss.
