NOTTINGHAM, England – Rain forced Nottingham Open organizers to schedule the last quarterfinal, the semifinals and final for today.

No play was possible on the grass on Saturday, after rain also cut short play on Friday, when the last quarterfinal between Ana Konjuh of Croatia and qualifier Sachia Vickery of the United States was postponed.

The winner will meet No. 5-seeded Alison Riske of the United States in the semis of the Wimbledon tuneup

The Peters Township native was leading Yanina Wickmayer, 6-2, 2-0, when Wickmayer retired from their quarterfinal match.

Riske, who is ranked 48th in the world, has reached round of 32 in each of the past two years at Wimbledon.

The other semifinal features top-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland against Monica Niculescu of Romania.

The weather forecast for today is a little better, with light rain in the morning.
