MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Lucky Jones came off the bench to tie a career high with 27 points, on 5-of-6 shooting from 3-point range, and powered No. 2 seed Robert Morris past No. 7 Wagner 91-68 in a quarterfinal game of the Northeast Conference tournament Wednesday night.

Jones was 8 of 12 from the floor overall and 6 of 6 from the line. Freshman Marcquise Reed, named the NEC Rookie of the Year Tuesday, scored 22 points. Overall the Colonials shot 30 of 56 from the field (53.6 percent), including 12 of 20 from beyond the arc.

Marcus Burton and Mike Aaman each scored 19 points to lead the Seahawks (10-20). Wagner was held to 41.4 percent shooting from the floor (24 of 58).

Robert Morris (17-14) faces No. 3 seed Bryant in the semifinal round of the tournament Saturday.
