READING – Peyton Carper scored 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds and handed out five assists as Lebanon Valley advanced to the ECAC South Regional finals with a 63-57 victory over Washington & Jefferson Saturday at Lebanon Valley College.

W&J, which finishes its season at 21-8, trailed for most of the game, including 61-46 with just under 2 1/2 minutes to play, but an 11-0 run, keyed by four points from Erin Lavery, cut the lead to 61-55 with 12 seconds remaining.

That was as close as W&J would get against Lebanon Valley (20-9), which plays host Albright in today’s final (2 p.m.).

Alyssa Cirucci and Bridget Rothert added 11 points each for the winners.

Senior Valerie Dunlap led the Presidents with 15 points, all of which came in the second half, and eight rebounds. Amirah Moore added 10 points for W&J.
