According to TMZ.com, Steelers cornerback Antwon Blake was arrested over the weekend in Oceanside, Calif., on a public intoxication charge.

Blake was kept overnight and released early Sunday morning.

The Steelers, who last week tendered Blake an offer as a restricted free agent, said in a statement that they were aware of and are investigating the arrest but would have no further comment.

Blake’s arrest comes as the Steelers are hosting a pair of free agent cornerbacks. Patrick Robinson, a former first-round pick of the New Orleans Saints, visited the team Monday, while Dallas’ Sterling Moore is scheduled to visit today.
