The Washington Wild Things have acquired pitcher Shane Street from the Southern Illinois Miners as the player to be named that completes a trade made in August.

Street (6-1, 190), a native of Rockford, Mich., had a good season pitching out of the bullpen for Southern Illinois this past season. The right-hander appeared in 26 games and had a 0-0 record, one save and 2.95 ERA. In 24 1/3 innings, Street allowed only 16 hits, walked 11 and struck out 33. Opponents batted .184 against Street.

The Wild Things had sent pitcher Tim Flight to Southern Illinois on Aug. 17 in exchange for pitcher Jon Klein, the Miners’ first-round draft pick in 2016 and a player to be named later.
