Quarterback Dom Eannace passed for four touchdowns, Bryan Milligan rushed for 264 yards on 19 carries and scored twice, and Canon-McMillan ended its football season with a 48-14 victory over visiting Shaler in a non-conference game Wednesday night.

The Big Macs (3-7) won two of their final three games, the only setback being a one-point loss at Blackhawk last Friday.

Canon-McMillan overcame a 6-0 deficit midway through the second quarter and scored 34 second-half points.

After Shaler (2-8) took the 6-0 lead on two field goals by Anthony Friel in the first quarter, C-M answered with a 14-yard touchdown pass from Eannace to Doug Kotar and a 69-yard TD run by Milligan for a 14-6 advantage at halftime. Milligan’s run came with 36 seconds left in the half.

Eannace threw a two-yard TD pass to Jordan Smith and Milligan raced 77 yards for a score as C-M forged a 28-14 lead after three quarters. The Big Macs secured the win over the final 12 minutes as Eannace threw touchdown passes of 12 yards to Smith and 10 yards to Greyden Piechnick, and Brennan Handyside ran three yards to close the scoring.

Eannace completed 13 of 21 passes for 181 yards. Smith caught five passes for 72 yards.
