• Bryce Gabelhart scored with two minutes left to play Thursday to give Peters Township a 3-2 win over Chartiers Valley in a tight Section 5-AAA match.

Brady Pike and Kelson Marisa also scored for PT (4-2-1, 7-3-2). Sean Kinney scored for CV (3-4, 5-6-1), which scored on an own goal.

• Clayton Overson scored at the 16-minute mark to give California a 1-0 win over Geibel Catholic in Section 4-A.

Noah Keene registered his third shutout for Cal (3-5, 3-6). Tyler Jacobs had the assist.

• John Roche scored with 15 minutes to go to give Chartiers-Houston a 2-1 win over Brentwood in a Section 3-A match.

Austin Riggle had the first goal for C-H (1-7, 2-9-1). Gino Graffia scored for Brentwood (1-8, 1-9).

• Waynesburg defeated Beth-Center 3-0 in a non-section game. Waynesburg is 3-6-2 and Beth-Center 5-5.

• Adam Pesi scored in the first half to give Monessen a 1-0 win over Washington in a Section 4-A match.

Monessen has a 6-4-1 overall record, including 5-3 in the section. Wash High is 1-9, 1-8 in section.
