MONESSEN – Monessen scored the first and last touchdowns Friday night, but between those scores Jeannette reeled off 42 consecutive points en route to a 42-14 win over the host Greyhounds in the Eastern Conference.

Jeannette (6-1, 6-1), which hosts Bentworth in a non-conference game next week, had two touchdown runs by Ryan Swinton and Swade Redman returned a punt 51 yards for a score and caught a 15-yard TD pass.

Monessen (4-3, 4-3) opened the scoring with a 33-yard pass from Jaden Altomore to Demond Jordan, and Andre Bolton had a 59-yard run in the fourth quarter. Jordan caught five passes for 70 yards.
