Clairton shuts out Monessen

CLAIRTON – Aaron Matthews completed 9 of 11 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a score as Clairton scored 60 first half points and defeated Monessen, 72-0, in an Eastern Conference game Friday night.

Lamont Wade added five touchdowns in the game as Clairton improved to 7-0, 8-0.

Monessen falls to 4-4 and 4-4.
