CLAIRTON – Harrison Dreher and LaMont Wade each ran for two scores, and defending WPIAL champion Clairton scored 40 second-quarter points Friday night en route to a 72-0 victory over visiting California in non-conference game.

Dreher rushed for 128 yards and scored on runs of 57 and 29 yards in the first half. Dreher also caught a 58-yard TD pass from Aaron Matthews, who threw for a pair of scores. Wade had TD runs of 56 and 36 yards.

Noah Hamlin opened the scoring for Clairton with a 91-yard punt return. Tre Howard scored on a 36-yard pass and and a 26-yard run. The Bears led 64-0 at halftime.

Jonathan Woods rushed fror 37 yards on 12 carries for California.
