Rhodes home run helps Houston beat Rebellion

Jade Rhodes hit a three-run, pinch-hit home run in the bottom of the sixth inning for the Houston Scrap Yard Dawgs Friday to secure a 10-6 victory over the Pennsylvania Rebellion in an NPF softball game.

The win moved Houston to 29-19 while the Rebellion fell to 16–30.

Houston scored five in the first and led 6-1 going into the sixth. But the Rebellion tied the game by scoring five in the top of the sixth. The big hit was a three-run home run by Cheyenne Cordes.

Janelle Linvalle and Madision Shipman each had two RBI for Houston. Alisa Goler and Lindsey Stephens each had two hits and an RBI.
