CRESTWOOD, Ill. – Windy City scored three unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and held on to defeat Washington, 6-5, Saturday in a key Frontier League game.

The Wild Things (35-39), who made four errors in the game, had two in the crucial sixth inning to help Windy City (36-39) turn a 4-3 deficit into a 6-4 lead.

Cody Keefer hit a home run and drove in two runs for Windy City, while Brian Loconsole allowed one run in the top of the ninth, getting out of a one-out jam with runners on second and third to record the save. Leadoff batter Andy Heck drove in a pair of runs for the Wild Things, who fell a half-game behind the ThunderBolts for second place and a playoff spot in the East Division standings.
