Local football players selected to PSFCA All-Star game
Washington High School senior defensive lineman Khalid Blount headlined the four local athletes who were selected to play in the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association East/West All-Star game, which will be held Sunday, May 1 at Cupples Stadium on the south side of Pittsburgh.
Charleroi lineman John Arnold, Trinity lineman Mac Chambers and Belle Vernon Nick Sweitzer were also chosen to represent the West team, which will be coached by Brashear’s Rick Murphy. The game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
