Rebellion shut out Bandits

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Miranda Kramer and Emily Weiman combined on a two-hitter as the Pennsylvania Rebellion defeated the Chicago Bandits, 2-0, Monday night in an NPF game.

Kramer allowed two hits in 4 2/3 innings before giving way to Weiman, who allowed only a walk in her 2 1/3 innings for the Rebellion (13-23).

Olivia Watkins opened the game with a leadoff triple and scored on Cheyenne Cordes’ groundout to give the Rebellion all the runs they’d need.

Alisa Goler had an RBI single to score Lindsey Stephens in the sixth inning to add an insurance run.

Angel Bunner took the loss for Chicago (16-20), allowing two runs in 6 1/3 innings.
