Wild Things game suspended

The Wild Things’ game Friday night at the Florence Freedom was suspended in the bottom of the fifth inning because of rain.

Washington led 4-1 at the time play was stopped but Florence had the bases loaded with one out.

The game will be resumed at 4:05 p.m. today as part of a doubleheader.
