The Pennsylvania Rebellion had just five hits Monday night against the Chicago Bandits, but made them count as Kristin Sandberg and Alisa Goler hit back-to-back homers in the fourth inning to spur them to a 2-1 win in an NPF game at Consol Energy Park.

The home runs by Sandberg and Goler were the only extra-base hits in the game and came on consecutive pitches off Chicago starter Michelle Gascoigne.

That was all the support Emily Weigman would need for the Rebellion (5-8). She allowed seven hits and one run in six innings, while Haylie Wagner gave up one hit in the seventh to get the save.

Leadoff batter Jill Barrett had two hits and drew a walk for Chicago (5-3), but the Bandits failed to take advantage, scoring just one run in the sixth.
