Chelsea Thomas pitched a four-hit shutout and the USSSA Pride hit three solo home runs in a 3-0 victory over the Pennsylvania Rebellion in a National Pro Fastpitch softball league game Wednesday night at Consol Energy Park.

Shelby Pendley, Chelsea Goodacre and Kristi Merritt each hit home runs off Rebellion pitcher Dallas Escobedo, who threw a five-hitter. Pendley’s home run, her third of the season, in the fourth inning gave Thomas the only offensive support she would need.

Thomas walked one and struck out seven for the first-place Pride. All of the Rebellion hits were singles. Three of the hits came in the fourth inning but a ground-ball double play ended the scoring threat.
