Baseball: No. 1-ranked Millersville routs Cal in PSAC opener

It was a rough opening day in the PSAC baseball tournament for California University against East Division champion Millersville.

The Marauders, ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division II, rolled to a 22-4 victory over Cal in the first round Sunday in Butler.

Cal (26-21), which used seven pitchers and gave up four home runs, falls to the losers’ bracket and will play Seton Hill in an elimination game at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Millersville improves to 45-4.

Millersville’s Dan Stoltzfus went 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and nine RBI.
