Kpan scores 4 TDs as Peters Township upsets Pine-Richland
McMURRAY – T.J. Kpan’s fourth touchdown of the game lifted Peters Township to a 32-27 upset win over Pine-Richland Friday night in a non-conference high school football game. Kpan rushed for 128 yards on 35 carries and scored on runs of 2, 5, 5 and 3 yards, the last of which came late in the fourth quarter to lift the Indians (3-4) to the victory.
Josh Caselli also scored on a 24-yard pass from Jake Cortes in the first quarter for the Indians. Cortes completed 9 of 18 passes for 133 yards.
Pine-Richland (4-3) was playing its first game without quarterback and Notre Dame recruit Phil Jurkovic, who suffered a season-ending thumb injury last week in a loss to Central Catholic. Max Devinney completed 19 of 41 passes fo 294 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in his place.
Raymond Falcone had nine catches for 252 yards and two touchdowns for Pine-Richland.
