Northgate sends Monessen to loss

MONESSEN – Surron Adams had 10 carries for 114 yards and three touchdowns to lead Northgate to a 34-6 non-conference win Friday night over Monessen.

Adams scored on runs of 40, 6 and 43 yards for Northgate (4-1), which also got a TD run from Anthony Barbarino and an interception return for a score by Mike Allen.

Vaughn Taylor scored on a 20-yard run for the Greyhounds, who fell to 1-5 with the loss.
