Love, Saxton lead South Fayette past Indiana
INDIANA – Geavonne Love rushed for 180 yards and scored the game’s first three touchdowns despite getting just 10 carries as undefeated South Fayette routed Indiana Friday night in a Northwest Nine Conference game.
Drew Saxton completed 15 of 17 passes for 191 yards and three TDs for the Lions (5-0, 7-0), who also got rushing touchdowns from Joe Mowad and Johnny Beck. Noah Plack, Dan Trimbur and Anthony Gedrys had the receiving scores for South Fayette.
Ryan Huff had three touchdown catches for Indiana (2-3, 3-3), as he caught seven passes for 100 yards. Luke Thomas completed 13 of 27 passes for 148 yards and two scores for Indiana.
