Derry remains unbeaten, shuts out Waynesburg

DERRY – Noah Wiencek and Tyler Balega combined for five touchdowns as Derry shut out Waynesburg 38-0 Friday night in a Class 3-A Interstate Conference high school football game.

Wiencek scored from 61, 26 and 48 yarda and Balega went over from 29 and six yards for the Trojans (5-0, 8-0). Wiencek finished with five carries for 143 yards and Balega 10 for 123.

Zach Eisiminger (17 for 51) and Colin McCracken (12 for 47) combined for 98 rushing yards for Waynesburg (0-7, 0-8).
