C-H beats Frazier to lock up home playoff game
FRAZIER – A.J. Myers caught an 88-yard touchdown pass from T.J. Johnston and Chartiers-Houston assured itself of a first-round home playoff game next weekend by defeating host Frazier 14-6 in a Century Conference high school football game Friday night.
The win gives Chartiers-Houston (6-1, 7-3) the second-place position in the conference. Frazier (4-3, 5-5) finishes in fourth place.
Chartiers-Houston did all of its scoring in the first quarter, then let its defense protect the lead. After C-H intercepted a Frazier pass, Spencer Terling gave the Bucs a 6-0 lead with a seven-yard run before the Johnston-to-Myers connection down the right sideline and a two-point conversion pass to Jordan Davis made it 14-0.
Frazier scored its only points on a five-yard run by Brennan Raygor in the second quarter.
