HOUSTON – Jeannette overcame a slow start by returning three intereceptions for touchdowns in a 59-14 non-conference win over Chartiers-Houston.

T.J. Johnston gave the Bucs (1-1) an early 14-3 lead with TD passes to A.J. Meyers and Jordan Davis. But Jeannette (2-0) stormed back in the second quarter with 28 unanswered points as Kareem Hall and Gio Vonne Sanders sandwiched a pair of touchdown runs around interception returns by Melik Gordon and Sanders.

Jeannette had six interceptions in the game.

Hall rushed for 108 yards on 12 carries for the Jayhawks.
