Belle Vernon shuts out Uniontown

BELLE VERNON – Tim Labuda and Cameron Guess each scored two touchdowns to pace Belle Vernon to a 40-0 victory over Uniontown in a Class AAA Big 9 Conference game called late in the third quarter because of inclement weather.

Labuda had TD runs of 33 and 5 yards and Thomas from 31 and 6 yards out for the Leopards (2-0, 2-0). Mike Fine and Nick Hall also scored for BV. Derek Thomas returned a fumble for a score.

Hall rushed for 69 yards on 7 carries and Fine was 3-for-9 for 48 yards.
