EF’s Benedek throws 5 TDs against Waynesburg

ELIZABETH – Zachary Benedek completed eight of 11 passes for 131 yards and five touchdowns as Elizabeth Forward defeated visiting Waynesburg, 33-0, Friday night in an Interstate Conference game.

Benedek threw TDs of 14, 14 and 33 yards to Jordan Devine, 13 yards to Hunter Safran and 19 yards to Steven Mayernick. The Warriors (1-1, 1-2) led 26-0 at halftime.

Colin McCracken rushed for 68 yards on 20 carries for Waynesburg (0-3, 0-3).

Devine caught six passes for 99 yards with the three touchdowns.
