Koroly rushes for 333 yards, scores six times in Trinity win
UNIONTOWN – Joey Koroly scored all six Trinity touchdowns, rushing for 333 yards on 27 carries, as the Hillers bounced back from back-to-back home losses to open the season with their first win of the year on the road, a 40-7 defeat at Laurel Highlands in a Big Nine Conference high school football game Friday night.
Koroly scored on runs of 3, 9, 37, 39, 55 and 64 yards as the Hillers (1-2, 1-2) broke out of an early-season scoring slump. Trinity had scored just 16 points in its first two games, losing 28-2 to West Mifflin and 56-14 last week to Thomas Jefferson.
Dylan Kern added 103 yards passing on 7 of 12 completions for Trinity.
T.J. Sevini had 72 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries for Laurle Highlands (0-2, 0-4).
