Boys soccer: Gabelhart’s goals win for Peters Township

Bryce Gabelhart’s second goal of the game, with eight minutes remaining, gave Peters Township a 2-1 victory over visiting Bethel Park in a Class 4-A Section 2 game Saturday night.
The win moves PT to 2-0 in the section and 5-0-2 overall. Bethel Park fell to 1-2, 2-4-1.
Bethel Park took a 1-0 lead five minutes into the game on a goal by Connor Dembiczak. Gabelhart scored the equalizer before halftime.
PT goalkeeper Dustin Gamble made four saves.
In other boys matches: Canon-McMillan rolled over Mt. Lebanon 6-1; Bentworth was a 3-2 winner over Bishop Canevin; Charleroi edged Yough, 3-2; Waynesburg cruised to a 10-0 victory over Washington, Belle Vernon blanked Trinity, 3-0, and Gateway stopped South Fayette, 2-0. No details were made available to the Observer-Reporter.
