Girls soccer: McGuffey evens record with victory

Mikayla Maxwell had one goal and assisted on two others as McGuffey blanked visiting Beth-Center, 3-0, Thursday night in a non-section game.

Jorey Wolfe and Kaylee Loughman had the other goal for McGuffey (4-4), who moved to the .500 mark. Backup goalkeeper Meghan Lawton had the shutout, making two saves.

Beth-Center is 4-3.
