Kacy Alderson had three hits, including a homer, scored four runs and drove in four as Chartiers-Houston topped Burgettstown, 17-2, in a four-inning Section 3-AA game Monday.

Kacie Scears tripled and drove in three runs, and Jessica Ford, Macie Kesneck and Karlyn Bayer each doubled for the Bucs (2-0, 7-0). Kesneck had three hits and Bayer drove in three.

Darian Transue and Jordan Baronick had the only hits for Burgettstown (1-2, 1-6).

• Bentworth had runners at second and third with one out in the bottom of the seventh but Frazier’s Logan Hartman worked out of the jam to preserve a 4-2 Section 3-AA win for the Commodores.

Hartman and Savannah Berklovich each doubled for Frazier (3-0, 4-1). Kaylie Anderson and Savannah Adams had doubles for Bentworth (1-1, 2-5).

• Mapletown and Jefferson-Morgan each scored four runs in the seventh inning but it was Mapletown that came away with a 6-5 win in Section 2-A on an Elisa Clark walkoff single.

Mapletown (2-2, 3-3) led 2-1 going into the seventh inning. Sara Chory had a two-run double, Abby McIntire had an RBI double and Rachel Hartley doubled.

Michelucci struck out eight and did not issue a walk. The Big Macs (3-1, 3-1) gave her the only runs she would need in the top of the second inning, when Julia Ciotti delivered an RBI single and Ashley Buggey followed with a sacrifice fly that scored Greaves.

• Undefeated South Park scored in every inning en route to a 12-2 five-inning victory over Waynesburg in Section 3-AAA.

Tara Staley doubled and Madison Johnson drove in both runs for Waynesburg (2-1, 5-2).

• Katie Reed’s third hit of the game scored Phoebe Wentzell with the game-winning run in the top of the eighth inning as Charleroi edged McGuffey 8-7 in Section 3-AAA.

The run came after McGuffey (1-2, 2-4) forced extra innings on Brin Hunter’s three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh.

Ciara Stickles hit a three-run homer that put Charleroi (1-2, 1-3) ahead 3-2 in the fifth inning. Stickles had four RBI. The Cougars broke a 3-3 tie with a three-run top of the seventh.
