Boys basketball: Big first half sends Avella to victory

Shawn Williard had 16 points and Avella sprinted out to a 32-12 lead at the half en route to a 57-41 non-section win over Bentworth Thursday night.

Austin Lis added 14 points and Garrett Geresti had 12 for Avella (6-15).

Steve Schoedel scored 16 points and Levi Jordan had 10 for Bentworth (10-12).
