Wild Things fall to Grizzlies

SAUGET, Ill. – Blake Brown and Brian Lees each hit a home run as Gateway salvaged the final game of a weekend series as it defeated Washington 6-2 Sunday night at GCS Ballpark.

Wild Things’ starting pitcher Cameron Sutton (2-3) allowed four runs and six hits, including Brown’s three-run home run to open the scoring in the third, through four innings.

Kane Sweeney and Mike Hill each hit solo home runs for the Wild Things.
