Rachel Eng scored a career-high 16 points, as the senior’s third straight double-digit game led the Waynesburg University women’s basketball team to a 57-47 win over Grove City.

Mackenna Drazich, an Avella graduate, and Addy Knetzer, a Chartiers-Houston graduate, followed Eng in scoring with 14 points each.

Despite being outscored by the Wolverines 22-17 in the fourth quarter, the Yellow Jackets already had a sizeable lead built up from only allowing two points in the first quarter.

The win is Waynesburg’s third straight. The Yellow Jackets (1-0, 3-2) travels to St. Vincent Saturday, while Grove City (0-2, 1-4) hosts Chatham.
