Pellegrini throws 4 TD passes as Charleroi wins 5th straight

HOUSTON – Geno Pellegrini completed six of eight passes for 175 yards and four touchdowns as Charleroi won its fifth consecutive game, 57-0 over host Chartiers-Houston in a Century Conference game Friday night.
Charleroi (3-1, 6-1) did all its scoring in the first half. The Cougars scored 27 first-quarter points and 30 more in the second.
Pellegrini threw TD passes for 15 and 44 yards in the second quarter to Dakota Romantino, 66 yards in the first quarter to Cameron Carter and 4 yards to Ryan Workman early in the second quarter.
Hunter Perry rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. He scored on runs of 21, 2 and 21 yards. Travis Lytle also had a one-yard scoring plunge.
Charleroi held C-H (0-5, 0-7) to only two first downs and 16 totals yards.
