Frazier tops Bentworth in key Century matchup

PERRYOPOLIS – J.D. Celaschi returned a fourth-quarter interception 100 yards five minutes remaining Friday night to seal Frazier’s 39-18 victory over Bentworth in a Century Conference game.

The win boosts the playoff chances for Frazier (2-4, 2-7), which is battling Bentworth (2-5, 3-6) for the fifth and final postseason spot out of the Century Conference.

Celaschi opened the scoring with a 32-yard run and Mason Kelly scored twice for the Commodores.

Spencer Fereza ran for 91 yards and a touchdown and Riordan Tush returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown for Bentworth.
