Big first half carries Frazier over Chartiers-Houston

HOUSTON – Mason Kelly and George Smalich each rushed for three first-half touchdowns as Frazier cruised to a 42-6 victory over host Chartiers-Houston in the Century Conference Friday night.

Frazier (3-5, 3-7) overcame an 0-6 start to make the playoffs. The Commodores led 28-0 after one quarter, getting TD runs of 31, 35 and 13 yards from Kelly, who finished with 129 yards on four carries.

Smalich had a TD run of seven yards in the first quarter and runs of 20 and five in the second quarter.

Chartiers-Houston (0-7, 0-10) scored one a one-yard plunge by Matt Whitfield in the second quarter.
