Beth-Center’s defense shuts down Yough

FREDERICKTOWN – Dominic Fundy ran for 101 yards and one touchdown, Bailey Lincoski passed for one score and ran for another and Beth-Center’s defense came within three minutes of a shutout as the Bulldogs defeated visiting Yough 21-6 Friday night in a nonconference game.
Beth-Center (2-0) was locked in a defensive battle until Lincoski connected with Trevor Anderson for a 10-yard touchdown pass that gave the Bulldogs a 6-0 lead with only 41 seconds left in the first half.
Lincoski’s three-yard touchdown run made it 12-0 after three quarters. Dylan Dingle boosted a 16-yard chip-shot field goal and Fundy, who carried 15 times, plowed in from two yards to make it 21-0 with 3:33 remaining.
Yough scored on Ryan Shoaf’s 17-yard run with 2:32 to play.
