Rush rolls as Mapletown routs Cornell

MAPLETOWN – Senior running back Dylan Rush ran for 318 yards and six touchdowns, a two-point conversion and threw for a conversion score as Mapletown defeated visiting Cornell 42-14 Friday night in a nonconference game.
Rush, who carried 37 times, scored on runs of five, 32 and 19 yards in the first half, and 12, 69 and 43 yards in the second half. The latter two scores came in the fourth quarter after Cornell had closed to within 28-14.
Mapletown (1-1) rushed for 356 yards.
Zaier Harrison ran for one score and threw for another for the Raiders.
