WEST MIFFLIN – Howie Reed scored his second touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter and West Mifflin intercepted a Dylan Kern pass with a little more than a minute to play to secure a 26-24 victory over upset-minded Trinity in a Class AAAA Big Nine Conference game Friday.

The teams traded scores after a Dante Cecchine 34-yard field goal in the first quarter gave the Hillers a 3-0 lead.

Joey Koroly, who had 160 yards on 30 carries, scored on a pair of 2-yard runs and Cole Blair returned a kickoff 85 yards in the fourth quarter that gave the Hillers (0-1, 0-1) a 24-20 lead midway through the fourth quarter.
