Boys soccer: Canon-McMillan rallies to defeat Ringgold

• Canon-McMillan scored three unanswered goals after halftime to defeat Ringgold 3-1 Saturday in the Canon-McMillan tournament.

Ringgold took a 1-0 lead on a goal from Christian Egan. The Big Macs’ three second-half goals were scored by Brandon Byer, Luke Gladden and Jeff Harbaugh.

•Peters Township’s Bryce Gebelhart scored at the 70-minute mark as the Indians tied Central Catholic 2-2 in the South Hills Classic.

Logan Brinksy scored the first goal for PT.

• Colin Martincic scored both goals for South Fayette as it earned a 2-2 tie against Moon in the South Fayette Tournament.

• Markello Apodiakos score four goals and Jake Sepesky made two saves as Belle Vernon defeated McGuffey 8-0 in the Belle Vernon tournament.

Niko Apodiakos, Nick Nagy, Matt Wobrak and Chris McCullough also scored for the Leopards.

Later in the day, the Leopards defeated Our Lady of Sacred Heart 9-1. Markello Apodiakos led Belle Vernon with four goals. Niko Apodiakos had two goals.

Aaron Brown and Nick Nagy each scored.
